Every morning the peacocks visit me (Golden Sunset). There are now 3 cocks and 3 or 4 (hard to tell) hens. I'm sure that when the young cocks come of age, there will be some fighting. The cocks have major claws on the inside of their legs. The oldest cock is very vain and jumps on the railing of my veranda to see the "other" male in the window -LOL









Nope his head isn't missing - he's preening.

Hi Laurel, Yes I have seen him but it's usually when I don't have my camera handy. I don't think he likes to pose in full regalia LOL The younger cocks don't have enough plumage yet to show it off.
