    Happy New Year! I saw the recipe on your wooden spoons website. Such a pretty picture and bet it tastes great, but don't drink too much of the Goldschlager; it can cause small cuts to the throat and stomach. Edit: My college-aged kids say this is just a rumor, so carry on! Cheers!

    Hi Sprat your drink looks delicious (and I rarely drink - LOL). You have a wonderful imaginative way of cooking - I used to but living alone I don't often bother.

    MaryAnn - tell your kids that they don;t have to worry about the drink because it's another Urban Legend - it does, however make a good story for your friends

    BTW....that martini was not the one with the Goldschlager, that was my Christmas one...
