New person here! Need some advice!

Hi! Heading back to Jamaica for the 5th time in June. Going to be staying at Samsara. Started off as just my wife and myself and my step kids. We invited her ex husband and he decided to join us. Now its my mother and my wifes father and her half sister also! LOL! Anyways, I guess I need to rent a van to get us to Negril and drive us around the island. We want to vist some of the falls and also go to the hummingbird sanctuary. Any advice on what to rent? 12 Passanger van is what I was leaning towards (for us and all the luggage). Thanks for the help mon!

You could also use Clive's Transport
    http://www.clivestransportservicejamaica.com/

    Or the Magic Bus:

If your main need is airport transfer, and two trips, this would/might be a lot less expensive. If you are gonna be driving around like crazy, rent.

    Just my $.02 Enjoy!

Hey Brasi have you used clives before? I see the prices are really good compared to what I have seen.

Clives is great - dependable and reasonable - I use them every time for airport transfers to/from Negril.

Bird Sanctuary is in Mobay so you may want to do that on arrival or departure. YS Falls and Mayfield Falls are nice but I would recommend having a guide to take you there and stay with you but that is just my preference.
Have you driven in JA before? Make sure all papers are in order in case you are stopped and roadside checks. But if you are "seasoned" and have that many peoples then it might be the better choice than charters which can get pricey.....

Rocky of Rocky's Taxi & Tours has a nice new bus. He's a very safe driver doing airport transfers and tours. He usually has a cooler with cold beers available. Give him a shout at 876-370-7915 or email at roxroy45@hotmail.com. I have used Rock's services for years.

I am pretty sure anyone getting a bus full will give you a deal, its very competitive and June is not exactly a busy time.

As we would say in the UK, a roll of toilet paper would be handy, just for those 'near misses'!!!
