"The Invasion of the Seaweed" begins - Part 1

Two days after the passage of Hurricane Sandy, the Seaweed on the beach began to accumulate. Some properties began dealing with it immediately by digging huge holes in the sand and then raking the seaweed, picking it up and loading it into wheelbarrows, and transporting it to the holes to be dumped in and buried. Other properties, mostly the AIs at first, called in reinforcements - backhoes. Others waited until the seaweed had accumulated on the beach to amazing heights and depths before they did anything.

Gosh, I had never thought of what to actually do with the sea weed once you have gathered it all up. There is an amazing amount of material there to be dealt with. Thanks for sharing

I'm told that by burying it, it helps stabilize the beach somewhat.

That makes sense. Is that the Boat Bar that is awash with seaweed?

It would be Waves, Lazy Dayz, mostly. Not much beach at the Boat Bar to accumulate any seaweed.
