Two days after the passage of Hurricane Sandy, the Seaweed on the beach began to accumulate. Some properties began dealing with it immediately by digging huge holes in the sand and then raking the seaweed, picking it up and loading it into wheelbarrows, and transporting it to the holes to be dumped in and buried. Other properties, mostly the AIs at first, called in reinforcements - backhoes. Others waited until the seaweed had accumulated on the beach to amazing heights and depths before they did anything.
As this unusual trip report continues, stay tuned for more incredible seaweed pictures.
