But that only gives you 800 minutes and they have to call you..I guess it depends on how long you talk, because Ive had that run out in less than 2 weeks. Plus any calls they make internationally get deducted from the international plan. Im just glad there is another option out there.

I've used 55 minutes in the last 7 days and it probably will continue so.

Rebtel is .17 to mobile and .05 to land line. (thanks Van)

I need to call them on a regular daily basis to stay in touch with the projects at the yard so I'm not "normal"

The Rebtel is good so far. If anybody knows a better plan I'd love to hear about it

It depends on your needs. I need to talk to 8 or so people on a regular basis. For instance I call Samuels hardware to order thing.

You can do a little better than Rebtel with calling cards at Speedypin. Mobile to mobile is 12.5 cents/min.

I went to the site and it's for calling cards. Do any of them have no connection/disconnection fees or expiration.

I used cards like this before and there always something they don't tell you.

However, if there's one that is cheaper than Rebtel I will be eternally grateful

captaind, that depends on the calling card. Speedypin gives you a choice of several different calling cards (some have better rates for mobile-to-mobile while others are geared to land lines) and they provide information on the fees, expiration, rechargeable, etc in an easy to follow format. You can choose the card that best suits your needs.

800 minutes is 13 hours of calling = $15 compared to you calling the person for 800 minutes x .12 cents = US $96. If your $15 only lasts 2 weeks ,and yu pay another $15.00, its still a STEAL !!
choice is yours. of course dis is not suitable for everyone ...especially not yu Capt'n..
