I picked them up last year on my foot and it freaked me right out. I saw three doctors in the next 6 months. The first one tried topically freezing them with liquid nitrogen....fail. The second prescribed pills....fail. The third simply said they'll disappear. I finally gave up. For all I know they in my gut as I type. What the hell cures these things?

We have contracted hookworm a couple times. It's really nasty stuff. Itches like crazy and feels like your skin is crawling, which it literally is. Fortunately, our doc had spent time in the Caribbean and knew exactly what it was, and one dose of Ivermectin did the trick, both times.

Why do you have to see three doctors when you only have two feet ?
