Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
Thanks for the suggestion on the Pub Crawl, I should've mentioned we're already scheduled for it. We joined a group that is going on Sunday which is the day before we leave. Office of nature is also on our list, from what I've read their is actaully 2 of them now one is original "blue trap" and the other is a actual building.

We stepped down from it last year to Grand Pineapple Beach and although we saw the difference in price/dining/bar options, we still got a great room, a great staff/hotel, and found ourselves in the most perfect spot on Seven Mile Beach to experience all that Negril had to offer, and took the opportunity to immerse ourselves in it. We've done CN 4X, but may never go back just because of all the Jamaica we got to experience outside the wall. check this out....(NautiBoy..got CN reviews, too)

lisapat, thanks for the info on Grand Pineapple, their resort pictures look nice. I believe they were closed when we booked so we didn't consider them.
Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
You'll have to taxi to most places, especially at night. Have fun.
Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
We've decided to taxi somewhere Friday night, any recommendations? More laid back/social place. Live music is ok but we're not much for club dancing.
Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
Seastar Saturday night dinner and show is great. They have a shuttle and will pick you up at CN and bring you back after the show or take a cab (red plates!)
Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
For a Friday I'd go to the show at Alfred's. Good bar, fun mix of tourists and locals, live band and you can't beat dancing in the sand. Def a laid back atmosphere.

Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
We have done the blue tarp Office of Nature last two times down, always a good time. Cold beer, lobster and vibe all cool.
Re: Bars/Nightlife near Couples Negril
Alfred's looks like a great place to hangout. With the show starting at 10 that still leaves plenty of time for us to eat at the resort have a few drinks and headout. I'm really hoping the sand gravity doesn't affect us to much.
