That Okema won't smoke a cigar even though I carry one for her
# If you don't look like a God or Goddess back home - You aren't all of a sudden one in Jamaica (regardless of what people try to make you believe)
# That you don't think of yourself as "rich" but don't know a single Jamaican who could have afforded to pay the price of your vacation.
# Somehow you think that it is okay to break laws in Jamaica (that you wouldn't do at home) and that somehow that is cool because you see others do it and don't get busted.
# know someone for only a couple of days or weeks and "trust them like a brother"
# You send money to someone Western Union and wonder why they are often seen standing in a line at HiLo waiting for money from other people.
# ray ray lay lay.......
Peace and Guidance
Good ones Acompong, espeacially #1.
The one i remember most and can't understand is when you ask someone directions to somewhere and they say its just around the corner. Please do not take this literally, because just around the corner could mean a few miles or even more.
Lol
Okema
yu learn dat one fast, Okema if yu have to walk "round di corner" inna di hot sun!!
That I can be exactly who I'm...no perpetrating for NO ONE!!!!!
We have a standing joke at my house in Accompong Town. Don't ever think you know what a Maroon means by:
# "over yonder" or "over der" means between one to ten miles or maybe more.
# the difference between "soon come" and "likkle more" is 10 minutes or tomorrow (if your lucky! lol!)
