Yes - bud on a stalk, well cured. Wasn't wet or hard to smoke or harsh on the lungs, but wasn't so dry that it crumbled into a powder when broken up.
And yes, crystals - actually called trichomes, but I figured I use laymans terms here.

I'm not sure that this is the proper forum for that? I'll wait for a go ahead from Rob or Lisa before delving too deep into that one. There are many books and articles on the topic. The gist of it is that it slows the moisture loss, resulting in smoother product. It's how I have always done it, you just need huge jars or turkey bags to finish the cure after initial "drying".
A simple Google search will tell you how, no need to get into it here.
huge jars........ didn't think of that......
google is your best friend...i know him long time...
? ..... anyone know the relative humidity in negril
yamon......
YO....
BARTENDER.......a round for the house on that guys tab...
just kidding i'm buying
So yeah, it's definitely difficult with their climate, which is why it was so impressive. Best I've had on the island.
ya..... it will be hard for it to dry out to fast .....
are seeds legal in jamaica
it's lambsbread.
QUOTE=CosmicMoose;190775]I spoke with a Rasta on the beach and out of curiosity asked if LambsBreath is still around, he called it Lambsbread (I've heard it referred to as both interchangeably) and said he had some elsewhere but also had kingsbread which he said is better grade than lambsbread. But he said they both go for $320/oz because it takes so many months to grow. Yeah that's true it takes twice as long to flower, but at more than 10x regular grade prices? nah....

As I said I've heard it used interchangeably:
https://www.leafly.com/sativa/lamb-s-bread and according to them "Leafly is the world’s largest cannabis information resource."
"Also called "Lamb's Breath," Lamb's Bread is*a bright green and sticky sativa strain."

Fire up
"sticky sativa strain"
You betcha'
Cap
nobody weighs it out, you buy it by the "bunch" and just ask for "sticky-green", anything else is "road-bush"
Sticky green, eh? I'll give it a shot. I'd really like to get my hands on some decent sativa-heavy buds for the daytime this trip. Appreciate the tips.
well you can buy different strains but for the most part the ganja is all pretty close to the same in Negril from my experience.....
you can buy ganja in different amounts quite easily without paying the tourist prices......
don't laugh but nobody around mi lane pays more than $8,000J for a pound.....$5,000J for half pound
though this year it has ticked up....oh well....

Ganja in April is the same as if it's February, July or December... The key is having a good friend (local) and it really doesn't matter when you arrive.... It's easy to get but get from
Someone you trust...it's easy to differentiate the good stuff from
The stuff you see regularly, in my opinion
This thread has gone 6 pages and not one mention of "subs".
The times they are a-changing.
yamon:cool:....
so now what........
its all the same strain, from the same place, some a little better than the other.
Chances of finding some sativa in January?
Slim, unless you have a good source. Try May/June.
...try.... before u buy..and watch him build it.
Never met a bud in Ja. I didn't like the first time

Scandal Bag weed works every time...
i have been curious about trying sativa. have asked my usual sources but for the most part they don't know what i am talking about. is there really a difference where it would keep you up and going better than the more common strains?
i wonder how the ganja in may is?
Any ganja in April or May is good for getting the munchies and eating a belly full or fresh, ripe mangoes
Jamaican saying "turn down your pot is mango time"

Well maybe I've just been lucky, but we have a local connect that get's us "Orange Hill" and we have never been disappointed. I've also bought on the beach, and there's definitely a big downgrade. Not being weed experts in any way shape or form, we like what we buy for $80 US and that amount lasts us the entire 9 or 10 days we stay every May. Whatever weight it actually is let's us smoke every day and night and we always have enough to leave a few fatties behind for friends we've met during our stay.
I went on a farm tour during Boardie Week. It was up in the hills about 15 mins from Red Dragon. Not quite sure where exactly.
The farmer has been growing for 30 years, since he was 13. Definitely grows well, not a single seed in anything I saw. Not one male plant was visible. He only grows autoflowering varieties, so they are ready in 8-10 weeks from sprouting.
He was growing 3-4 varieties including purple haze auto, which was very nice and I highly recommend.

not to worry because anyone you buy from will let you know their's is the best!
