Do you have anything positive to contribute, or do you just want to take shots at people? You can cure far better on the stalk than you can loose buds, but I'm sure you knew that, and the reasons why.

I'm not sure that this is the proper forum for that? I'll wait for a go ahead from Rob or Lisa before delving too deep into that one. There are many books and articles on the topic. The gist of it is that it slows the moisture loss, resulting in smoother product. It's how I have always done it, you just need huge jars or turkey bags to finish the cure after initial "drying".
