What airline for the one way??
US Airways, second cheapest was jetblue
Sometimes flying in or out of Kingston can save $$ if you want to work a south coast/blue mountains or Ochi into your trip.
I haven't used google flights, hille141. I've used many of the others. Thanks for the suggestion. Is it just me or would it be nice if one of these sites gave you the option to select a few of your favorite flights and notify you when they are within a certain price range? I have certain flights on Delta, Airtran, US Airways, and American that I know I want to fly. The thing I don't like is that I will get a notification that the flight is in the range and go to the site to check it out. I then see that it is an overnight flight? I don't care how cheap it is, I am not doing an overnight flight from Nashville. Wish some programmer would add that feature!!
Two one-way flights are cheaper? Let me check that out!
I'm booking for late June, early July, but that won't happen until sometime in May...
I've found that flights from DFW to MBJ are much more affordable then than now...
That's based on years of travel from DFW...
Dallas folks won't realize any savings based on Southwest/AirTrans
new schedule until Nov 14th(Wright Amendment), at the earliest...
Hoping other airlines will feel the SW bite and start to compete! Hold off for the Summer, if you can.
The 1st Summer Airfare "War" hasn't really started yet... :)

As a former travel agent that would be a Big surprise.Usually it is the opposite. I have actually booke a round trip I didn't need because it is cheaper than a 1 way. Then I take the unused tkt,pay the penalty but still have some value for the unused tkt to exchange in the future.
I used to sit in my office and watch the agents Throw Away the unused tkt because of the term "non-refundable",,yes,they are non refundable but ??? If you have a roundtrip ticket that cost say $600..you use one way so that's a $300 leftover. You get a $100 penalty on that tkt but you STILL have a $200 credit for that unused tkt???????
Would this work for you maybe? I don't have any experience with them but it might be worth a shot.
