Just Looked at my Luggage...

HOW in the world,
does traveling to Jamaica
mash-UP my luggage so..??..

my big-bag is falling apart..!!!..
..and it's just been sitting here,,,,empty
.....how/why it do-ing that....???? !!! ???!???

gonna have to put my stuff in bunch of those big-black plastic bags eh
..or some duck tape

The Bugs are B-a-c-k ...!!!.....

the bugs been chillin'
'til the first day of Spring & this recent full moon, eh
...and the recent likkle showers

last night,
saw some of those strange Ja-lighting bugs
...they don't flicker, like in foreign
......more of a VIVID loooooooong glowing stream of light, as they glide/slide & dart-about in the dark-dark night sky

saw some of those BIG weird ones, too

and::>> the mosquitos are starting to do their 'squito thing-y
.....while chattin' with my builder-man, last night,,, and over the past few nights, he was constantly swat-ing 'em.

i was cool

'cause i had my Sawyer bug stuff on-skin and on clothing [[from head to toe ]]

an aside::>> builder-man does seasonal work in-foreign
....*we* did a Google map thing-y on my tablet, and he told me about the farm-location where he works each year ---- he's going back 'bout mid-August .......to pick apples

told me about traveling.... experiences in-foreign...HOW-to-pick apples ... daily quota to pick... and a bunch of other interesting things, regarding his seasonal work..

Easter-time is family & friends time

late last night,
while out on the road/lane & at local shop/bar/hang-out
ran into two (of 6 sisters)
..have known 'em long time --- since they were 'bout middle-school age

they live on-island
in another area,
and came to visit peer-rants and friends

we chatted
about both their recent visits/trips to-foreign .... NewYork ... Florida
....and their impressions, feed-back etc etc blah blah blah....
.......they *liked* foreign-life,, BUT GREAT-ly appreciate what Jamaica had to offer:::::: lifestyle, good-er food, nicer-people, better inter-community-relations, etc etc etc

as i All-ways do,
i told 'em::>>> ''.. be SURE you share that *info* with your fellow Jamaicans, who haven't had the opportunity to go-foreign, yet..'''

some thoughts..reflections::::>>>>> it would help a LOT::::>>> better infrastructure, such as roads ....and GOOD broadband high-speed affordable internet service

the other day,
i asked the Digi-Hell sales-lady about
the cost benefits of Digicell's broadband router thing-y, for my use.

''..Sure .... it would be better for you, and decrease your costs .....BUT it [the signal] won't *reach* up their in-country where you live..''

i didn't see any tourist out & about,,staying there.

...'cause THIS was a 'first' for the-foreigner

a shot was CARE-fully measured into a cup

i started to sip

eyes looked worried [for me]
concerned facial expressions [[ for my 'safety' ]]

they didn't know,
that on those very-few times i might drink something,
i like my liquor STRAiGHT --- no chaser, no nothing, no foo-foo

the J&B was ok
...hot, not to bitter, not-bad ::: but NOT Appleton, too

You got me on that comment....LMAO!!

A friend of mine insisted that after a lengthly conversation with a Jamaican friend of mine that I had introduced...could fully understand his Patois....sadly, I had to break their heart and tell them he was speaking English with a thick accent...I did buy the next round.... :D

Hahaha by the time I finished reading and posted you had. 2 more post.. I was laughing at the liquor!! I don't mind the foo foo drinks, but I love my rum n ting.. JB is my favorite too!! In fact I ordered overproof and ting for my specialty drink at the wedding... Could only find that wrey and nephew tho, not my fave but it'll do
