chattin', joking, chilling, 'laxing, fun-ing, smoking, drinking ::::: the *usual*

i pondered

looked pon others drinking rum, in likkle plastic cups
...with a variety of 'chasers' --- water, Malta, Pepsi, Magnum, etc etc.

everybody's eyes WIDE-en-ed,
...'cause THIS was a 'first' for the-foreigner
a shot was CARE-fully measured into a cup
i started to sip
eyes looked worried [for me]
concerned facial expressions [[ for my 'safety' ]]
they didn't know,
that on those very-few times i might drink something,
i like my liquor STRAiGHT --- no chaser, no nothing, no foo-foo
the J&B was ok
...hot, not to bitter, not-bad ::: but NOT Appleton, too
