Shame on Negril Beach Club Condos
The original thread has been moved to this thread. The title of the original thread cast shame on the wrong hotel. The original poster, LuvJaBad, booked a room on the beach through Expedia and the hotel was overbooked and she was moved to an inferior hotel which was not on the beach.
While she is more than entitled to post her dissatisfaction with the hotel, in error she blamed the wrong hotel. Her room was booked on Expedia at the Negril Beach Club Resort. She placed the blame on the Negril Beach Club Condos, which is a separate entity. This is horribly unfair the owner of this business.
Although much damage has been done unfairly to the Negril Beach Club Condos, in order to attempt to correct this injustice, we have moved the thread to a heading that is much less harmful to the innocent property.
Thank you for your understanding.
Here is the original post:
They are overbooking and bumping folks to Caribbean Sunset. If you have a reservation with them - keep checking on it. I phoned the hotel 1 week in advance and was told everything was ok. I know the place is a dive but $55/nt for a room w/ kitchen on the beach was too good to pass up but at this point I wouldnt reserve with them again if the rooms were $1
Negril Beach Club RESORT or Negril Beach Club CONDOS

I was told by the ladies at the Beach Club CONDOS about 2 years ago that they would no longer be booking through Expedia and to book directly with them through email or over the phone. It appears that you booked with Negril Beach Club RESORT (Mariners) and not with Jean Gaynair.
If this is the case I would hope that the title of the thread could be changed to reflect that. NBCC is a separate business from the one I believe you have a problem with and shouldn't suffer the bad press.
It's a shame that the new owners of the Mariners part of the property chose such a similar name. This is probably the third or fourth time I've seen the two mixed up.
Misleading Thread - Negril Beach Club Resort & Negril Beach Club Condos
