You should expect to have a GOOD night ;) ;) LOL
I won't tell you everything, just know that its a special night at a special place designed for two people in love. Service, food, location cannot be beat. I got it to surprise my wife for no particular reason and ended up surprising myself. If its windy you may be shortchanged on the number of candles.:o
I've got it booked as a surprise for our wedding anniversary in December.
I have it booked as well - October though. Having a hard time keeping it a surprise.
We did the 100 Candles back in April. It blew away all my expectations! My wife was in awe the entire time.
You will be served a lot of food - try to save room for dessert. This was one time I was sorry that our hotel room didn't have a fridge, because we had to leave some leftovers behind.
I cannot see this advertised on their website can anyone give me further information on it?
You get a private table for two right on the edge of the cliff, a bottle of champagne, your own personal waitress, and a 5-course meal (soup, salad, appetizer, entree, dessert).
Can someone give me an idea of the cost of the 100 Candles dinner? Considering this for my wife and I in January (15-year anniversary)
I do believe that you are surrounded by 100 candles. Cost is $150.00.
When I booked was told $159 plus tax plus tip.
I'd hate to be the one trying to light 100 candles in the ocean breeze....lol
Sort of reminds me of shoveling a snow covered walkway in South Dakota....two step forwards three steps back
I'm going to bring my own candles and have the same experience. I'll post pics too. You can request any table you want, so basically you are paying for a little extra ambience. Not hating just stating. The staff there does a great job of making you feel special if you want, just let them know what you desire. No need to buy a package deal when you can tailor the meal to pretty much whatever you do desire. Please, for those of you that have it booked do not cancel your plans. Your ladies are lucky to have guys like you making the extra effort and your meal will be amazing.
Boot, You don't get it!
That should read" Booger" not boot
Limo Mon gonna get lucky!
Booger not everyone can be blessed with mojo like you hahaha
Hey Booger, I think you're on to something. I think I might bring 100 candles and set them up all around our cliffside balcony and then order room service. What could be more romantic than that?
Thanks for the idea!
Hey Mike, Great idea and the hammocks are big enough for two so you can chill with your honey after the meal swinging, talking, and .............
You can fly with gel-type candles according to TSA. Not sure what they are and also not sure if you can fly with a normal wax candle?
I've travelled with the battery operated candles. Love them as the look real and wont blow out.
That's exactly what I was thinking, Eden. You can get a bag of 50 tea lights at Walgreens for a few bucks, and just throw it in your checked luggage. The electric ones are great too, albeit a little more expensive.
In all seriousness, we're not even staying at Catcha this next reach and I won't pretend to be able to replicate the magic that is the Night of 100 Candles on my private balcony at any resort. However, I still think its a great idea for a lower-cost, romantic evening - whether you do it on your own balcony or any other table at Ivan's. Heck, you could probably do the same at a place like Bentley's or Presley's and have a great experience.
I always take tea lights never had a problem, also pack lots of white fairy lights and yankee tarts and burner :)
Does anyone know if the 100 candles dinner has its own menu or if you can just order off the regular menu too?
They print up personalized menus that you can keep. But it is basically the regular menu and you can always order from the regular menu too.
