Just finished Island Boys, very good, mostly westend 1972. Available on Lulu

The Dead Yard...excellent book and NO sugarcoating about Jamaica..

Really interesting read...tough at times regarding the vivid descriptions of slavery in Jamaica at the end of the 18th century, but truly worth the effort. A Jamaican author...Marlon James...The Book of Night Women.

Name this book. "The toad promptly pissed all over her dress. I asked her if she had that effect on all of the guys that she picked up."

How about a little project... Gather up all the Trip Reports from the old message board and this one and create a compilation of short stories. Writings from Clarity, Gerryg123, Psather and others that show the different aspects of their experiences. Make it an E-Book that's downloadable from this site, I'm sure there will be some downloads.

Hey Van; must be another "Island Boys". The one that "Pops Up" on Amazon and LuLu has a story line that would not have gone over so well in 72 Negil.
