                             April 16th - 21st, 2016
Negril is more than a resort town. As with all places, being the home to thousands of Jamaican islanders, the children are our future! And NEET, the Negril Education Environmental Trust located at Traveller Beach Resort, is taking an active part in the future of our children. Today we are featuring the Revival All Age School graduating students, the second school to participate in the NEET program which follows in the footsteps of the Sheffield All Age that received a total of 50 tablets from NEET for their "a tablet in every child’s hand" program . The Negril All Age School will be inducted into the program this coming Saturday and will have 8 weeks of classes. Students attend these classes along with their parents each week as the aim is to change the whole family’s life for the betterment of Jamaica. The eventual goal of the tablet program is to offer a free college scholarship to any child who follows the programs and uses the materials and aids given to achieve 100 percent in academic examinations for University. For those coming down for this year's Boardie Bash on the 29th of April at Woodstock on the beach, there will be a representative from NEET on hand to explain the program and accept any donations, either monitary or in "tablet" form. So if you have an old tablet you are not using, bring it down and help "each one teach one" as is the NEET motto! See you all soon and thank you for your support!
