Negril History

May 3rd, 2020

Following our fisherman theme earlier this week, the South Negril River is where the boats are docked for the night. The South Negril River is the river you cross on the bridge just before reaching the roundabout. Some of the earliest stories of Negril remark about the boats being docked on the riverbank, even Queen Victoria saw them on one of her secret visits to the island. She was instrumental in the building of the bridge!
