The New Sidewalk in Negril

The new sidewalk, which will include a bicycle and jogging track are well under way! These improvements, announced by Tourism Minister Dr. Wykeham McNeil last December are on target to be finished before the upcoming busy season that starts this December. This is in addition to the already completed traffic lights and the road medians that are part of this year's improvement projects. The sidewalk on the morass side of what is popularly known as the "beach road" being constructed runs from the round-about in the centre of town leading out for some 4km to Couples Swept Away Negril.
