Bolt in the Semi Finals in Negril Jamaica

Bolt Qualifies for the Semi-Finals

August 1st - 4th, 2017

In Jamaica, all eyes were on Usain Bolt on Friday the 4th as he did what he does best and cruised to the win in his qualifying heat at London's World Athletics Championships. Red Dragon was a buzz after the victory! Having a bad start out of the blocks, he still easily came in 1st and even coasted the last few metres of the Mens 100 Metre run. A total of three Jamaicans are in the semi finals at 1pm (JA time) with the Finals at 3:45pm on Saturday the 5th. Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake and Julian Forte will be taking on the best sprinters in the world, with this race being Usain Bolt's last 100 metre event. But Friday the 4th was the day for the British Mo Farah, who also ran and won his last Mens 10,000 metre race. It was an highly emotional victory, with Sir Mo Farah embracing his family and taking his wife and children on the victory lap! Both Farah and Bolt ran their last races in Jamaica earlier this year, and it was a great honour to see them both run in Kingston. Now we are witnessing the last races of two of greatest runners in the history of the sport! Thank you London and go Team Jamaica on Saturday!
