Blast from the Past - Feb. 2002

One of our online Negril community members here at Negril.com posted a "blast from the past" picture taken years ago on our beautiful beach at Fun Holiday. I found the original Negril Today page from February 21st, 2002. Here what was written that day almost 12 years ago!

" It was a Beach invasion of Boardie kind on the Negril Beach for the noontime Board Meeting Daze gathering at Fun Holiday. Joe took control of the Negril Entertainment Network's live chat and webcast, allowing familes and friends join in the fun from the sunny shores of as boardies consumed cold beverages and were entertained by the sounds of The Family Band. The Family Band has been entertaining tourists along the Negril beach for years, one of the Boardies' remembered the youngest member of the band since he wasn't any taller than the drum he now plays! All in all it was another funtastic day in Negril - Wednesday at noon at Fun Holiday is becoming the place to be, we will save you a seat and a cold one at the bar! See you soon!"

Although we have moved the Fun Holiday webcasts to Tuesdays, the gatherings continue! The live webcast parties were designed to give our "Boardie" members an easy way to meet and greet each other while in Negril!
