NEPA has made two material changes to the proposed construction of the two breakwater structures protect Negril's seven-mile white sand beach in Westmoreland. Krystal Lyn, an officer at NEPA, which is executive agency undertaking the project revealed that there will be no dredging of the South Negril River. The move follows concerns raised by residents and business operators at a July meeting to present Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Negril Breakwater Project.
