Headed out for dinner the other night with intentions of going to Fatties but they were closed. Much like everythign else in Negril, one door closes and another opens. We asked some guys that were playing domino for some suggestions. The first offered was Coral Seas (I think) but was too expensive for our group. After that, they suggested 3 Star. Half the group got curried conch and the other half got fish. Too bad they were out of whole fish. Both dishes were wonderful. Conch was tender and flavorful. The fish, fresh and with a little heat. Not sure what the sauce was, but it was delish. For us to try, they brought out some homemade hotsauce which was a vinager and oil infused with scotch bonnets and pemento (amazing.) Food was only $10 a plate and beers were 2-2.50. The dining room is a concrete slab with a couple folding tables and chairs so, don't expect fancy, but you will get good food made with love and great conversation. Everyone there was so hospitable and welcoming. Charlie, the owner was putting the finishing touches on his new outdoor bar which I look forward to checking out next time. Which brings me to my question....
Can anyone tell me exactly where this is located? I believe it's just off the road near bar b barn and Mom's place but I'm not positive.
Thanks!
