Day two was our do nothing day, a beach day if you will. We woke up at our leisure, sat on the patio with coffee and tea, the kids had yogurt we got from ValueMaster. After chatting for a bit we decided to head on down to the beach. We got our chairs set up and just relaxed.
A wonderful local came by asking if we wanted to go on a glass bottom boat right, "no thank you", then he asks if we want to go on a sunset cruise "no thank you" then he asks if I want to sit in the sun, he was thinking that I wasn't paying attention. I say "I am sitting in the sun, you thought I wasn't paying attention"! He stayed and talked with us for a while, talked about the shootings and that the locals are all mad because there are lots of people coming from Kington and Mandeville, so much so that they don't even know who they can talk to. He says its those foreigners to Negril that are causing all the problems.
After some beach time we went to the condo, grabbed a few Red Stripes then went next door to Errol's. Chatted with the bartender a while, he knows our buddy from Marchtown since he is from Marchtown himself. We instantly had a connection, we ordered more drinks and continued to talk with him.
Soon we decided we better go find the kids, 2 20 year old and a 12 year old. We headed toward Margaritaville since we figured they probably headed that way. But we have to stop at Yellowbird for a 2 for 1 Dirty Banana. Deliciousness!
We took our Dirty Bananas and continued toward Margaritaville. A few moments after we left it started to rain. We continued walking, a little liquid sunshine never hurt anyone!
We find the girls at Margaritaville, chatting with some local boys and enjoying margaritas. Soon the Beaches catamaran pulls in and it's really starting to pour now so we walk in with the Beaches folks. The staff put a bracelet on us which gives us a discount on food and beverage. Then they call out that the buffet is ready. Well that's never happened to us before! We get free buffet which was pretty darn good and I enjoy 2 It's Five O'Clock Somewhere drinks which are pretty stink in' strong.
Soon we head back to Negril Beach Club, grab another couple of Red Stripes then head over to Errol's for dinner, they had given us a sample of their daily special when we were there earlier and that was all we could think about all day!
The crew orders a few of the conch and octopus specials, lobster pasta and crab pasta, all were delicious! After dinner we headed back for a dip in the jacuzzi and then the pool. By this time we are tired so we all head back to the condo, shower and hit the sack! Tomorrow is the One Love Pub Crawl.
