Well it only makes sense that drinking beer brewed in a particular country / state tastes better. Have any of you been to the Guinness Brewery in Dublin??? Or Heineken in Amsterdam? Or the great beers in Copenhagen, Munich??? So how can a beer travel thousands of miles on a cargo ship, and taste as good in the USA as it does in it's home country.
Back in the 70's and 80's Red Stripe in Jamaica packed a nice punch. Can't say for sure recently how it tastes in JA but the Red Stripe that has been sold in the US (made in the US) was / is pretty different. But again the same can be said for most other brands.
