Markospoon...pretty sure if you call the Westender they offer an affordable shuttle to their property.
Last week we were being quoted about 1200J to go from Negril Tree House to Sunset on the Cliffs. That seemed to be the best rate, we felt it was fair so didn't shop it around too much.
300 j ea. way, 150 to round-a-bout & 150 to westend, using "locals" route taxies.
per person. if your taking your lady double it, you knew that yardie!
or 200 ea way on an "illegal" but thrilling (not so safe) bike taxi.
Route taxis don't go out to the Westender...you'll have to charter after the end of the route in the West End.Originally Posted by kim&betty

There is no contradiction to be made...the route stops near Hylton in the West End. You'll have to charter a taxi to get to the Westender. Westender is still quite a distance from the Hylton area.

I think 1000J sounds reasonable to take a safe, "insured" ride to the Westender Inn from the beach. I would, however, contact the Westender Inn as Bnewb suggested to see what they could help with arranging. I furthermore think it is irresponsible to even suggest an "illegal" (uninsured) bike taxi (when there is no such thing as a "bike taxi") especially knowing that much of the recent gun activity was perpetrated by illegal bike gunmen.
Risking your vacation and possibly your life for a few dollars sounds like something you could regret for a long time to come.
Anyways Markospoon, just cut back on one of your "ice cold" Red Stripes to make up any differences.
