Drag Races

I remember reading a few years back about drag races somewhere outside of Negril. Do they still have them? Any information as to when and where would be appreciated.

I've heard there is a 'race track' near little London.. I'm sure someone knows about it.

The drag races are incredible fun! We have had a blast out at the JamWest track - I think Lisa has some pics and will see if she can post them!

If there is a race when you are in town and you are interested in cars and cycles - do not miss the event!

Did I hear RACE!!!! Jamwest is located in Little London.About 30 ish mintues past Negril.I have LOTS of pics on my facebook.I think.We was there May 5th.IRIE tyme!!!!~I even got to ride in a drag car after the race.They knew i raced and they asked me if I want to run a this red car down the track a few tymes.I passed.I started knocking back Red Stripe that morning around 10:30am and it was around 4:30 and with the crowd and us having fun cheering on the fellow racers on.Drinking Red Stripes all day.I passed on the kind offer.The crew trested us like roality!!!~I cant remember the track prep guys name.But he said next time down.He said come see him and you can drive mon!!~Its ALOT of fun out there!!!!There last race was June 30th.THey still have a few more raced through out the year.Try the cow skin soup out there!!!Its GOOD mon!!!!~Check out my FB page i swear i got pics on there.Its a great drive up there takes about 7 Red Stripes to get there

Do they race just certain times of the year or is it a weekly thing??We have been to the Drag races here a few times but being at them in Jamaica would be a whole new feeling!
