Looking for Cheap cottage

Does anyone know of a really cheap apartment/cottage fairly close to the round about(within about 10 minutes in any direction - towards beach, towards westend, towards red ground/hills...)?

My only real requirement is private bath & shower. When I say cheap I mean like $20 per night. Hot water & A/C not necessary, fan would be good though. A frig would be good to, but not asking too much for the price I'm looking for. I will be staying for 2 or 3 weeks in September. Two people.

I should have looked around on my last trip in May, but just didn't think of it. It's a lot easier to find this kind of place while actually there

Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated!

I just stayed at Greenleaf cabins,right behind Best in The West. They have cabins for 20,but not private showers. There are other options there and you might be able to work out a deal. I also ate at Jah Bs and they have cabins behind the restaurant. It is closer to the roundabout.Both are on the Morass side. Westlea cabins looked nice, but never stayed there.Also Donaldsons gets good reviews here.

Try Maxine near lighthouse.....beautiful cottage on Hylton Ave. Bed, bath kitchen and living room. Very nice. See craigslist Caribbean housing and type in negril. $25 per night, but a little less for the week. I enjoy it much. or call Maxine at 876 430-6075.

also try Jah'b cottages. They have really nice little cottages with baths and kitchenettes for $30-$35 per night

check out the Negril Yoga Centre, on beach road (across road from beach) not too far from roundabout.

The best little cabin I have stayed in is pretty much opposite travellers beach resort and next to the yoga centre pretty close to the roundabout very close actually it is called westport cottages it is $20 per night the shower and toilet is outside of your room but there are lots of them dotted around around in a small enclosed safe cozy gated area.All cabins have little verandhas and at night everyone sits on them and plays dominoes or has a red stripe.Cozy little place with absolutely huge shared kitchen with a couple of cookers all the utensils and pots and pans you need and a few fridges freezers table and chairs.It is basic.it is clean .it is safe.it is excellently located and it is only $20

$20 bucks sure is cheap and concur on WestPort Cottages.......
maybe Tropical Fantasy too....across from the Boat Bar.....
JahB's is about $30 a night but the cottages have their own bathroom plus a refrig.......Westport doesn't have those
Secrets at Firefly have been known to go as low as $20 a night too.........their prices are all over the place.....
Miss Mary's is probably around $30 a night on da beach........beside Barry's.......location location.......not far from roundabout either
couple other people rent a room in the same alley as Miss Mary's too........
too bad you didn't take time out last reach to look.......
mi make it a point every reach to check out at least one place for future stays........
you'll find sumthin......maybe just book a room for the night like at Westport and then go check out things when you arrive?
