His fishing boat got swamped on the beach the other night in the storm. Saw that he had a back hoe trying to get it out but it didn't look promising. Does anyone know if he eventually got it out?

Wow, we have had nothing but good experiences with Captain Kirk, what happened to you guys?
He was a dick to me in August. Really tried to hard sell a boat trip and told me I didn't spend money on the locals etc.
That said. I wish no ill will on him.
he stole from us 20 years ago,he would still try every year to get us go with him avoided him at all costs then this past year we decided to give him another shot after him begging us for all of those years.well lets just say we got what we deserved!! He is dishonest . he has been caught going through peoples bags while they snorkel!! He tells you that the captain of the fishing boat is included then the captain tells you Kirk take 250 dollars for a day of fishing and that I need to pay him.I do not put this out there without a great deal of thought!! He is not to be trusted!!ask anyone on the beach. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN BUSINESS.

I also had a bad experience with Captain Kirk, although I don't know if he was actually Captain Kirk or not….but he was driving his boat! We made arrangements with him to take us to the cliffs and back after he bugged us the whole week to go out. When we got close to Ricks, he wouldn't stop so we could snorkel for a few minutes (whole point of the trip) and then told us he was running out of gas and made us get out on the beach close to town. It was pouring down rain and he just dumped us off and drove away…. I couldn't believe it! We were in our bathing suits and didn't have shoes or anything…..I could have killed him.
We had gone out with him a couple of times in the past 6 years. Last February we decided to go out with him. He had a new "first mate" on board. While en route to the reef, Captain Kirk started yelling at his helper who began emptying all of the cubbies. Once at the reef, I got out and began to snorkel. Hubby had a strange vibe and stayed on the boat. Captain Kirk began looking through the cubbies while screaming at his helper. On the way back, Captain Kirk is telling us that his helper was the only other one with a key to the locked cubby, and Captain Kirk's ganja was missing. He kept yelling at the helper, and I was super uncomfortable. After we were safely back on shore, he asked me to recommend him and help him get customers. I told him that I could not recommend him as it would ruin my reputation and I told him that we would never go out with him again. Not cool, Captain Kirk, not cool.
Have went out with him quite a few times, a couple of times he has provided a great tour and I guess that's what kept us coming back.
Yes have seen him pretty tough on his helpers, why do you think he has different help all the time? I would drive a pretty hard bargain with him, but only because we've been going for so long. So we got pretty good deals but only when he decided he needed the business bad enough.
Had enough when I introduced travel friends (1st timers) to him and he clipped them for an extra $50 that was completely bogus on his part and to top it off asked them not to tell me about it. When I asked him about it he became very nervous and said he would give me and Bad a free snorkel trip and apologized for the "misunderstanding". Rest of conversation was not pleasant from my end, past 3 years he won't even look me in the eye.
Sorry but whom ever mentioned karma, really nailed it.
Please keep in mind this is just my experience and to each heir own.

I've gone out with him 4 different times for various activities and everythign has been fine. The last boat trip was a little odd and seemed cut short but I assume it was becuase of the weather coming in that day while his other boat was still sunk on the beach and he was worried about getting it out. To me, that's understandable.
I'll accept that he's rough around the egdes and that rubs some the wrong way.
I'll admit that I dont have anyone to compare to. If anyone has specific guys they have used and like, send me a pm so I can check them out next time.
