Yet another bad accident(Collision) on the beach road

Bad collision on the beach road, either last night or early this morning. Police still there taking measurements, which is not a good sign. Looks like a vehicle hit a pole at high speed.
Remember, these are not accidents. An accident is an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance.

Since the pole was struck at a high rate of speed, the driver of the vehicle striking the pole would not have had enough time to either foresee or plan the event. Therefore, this must have been an accident.

I think what you are trying to say is that an accident is caused by no actions of the offender so in this case b/c the driver was speeding, hitting a pole was inevitable which makes it not an accident. I get that and agree. Despite my agreement I do hope the driver is not injured and is okay.
