Travellers isn't the Beach Club Resort or Beach Club Condos. It sits two or three properties closer to the river. Try this map.

    Try this map too. http://www.talkofthetownnegril.com/N...ap_2_15_11.pdf

Travelers is at the beginning of the beach road coming from the roundabout. Negril Palms ( pretty sure it's called 'The Palms Resort' on this map) is further up past Tree House, across from Gardenia.

I've stayed at Travellers, the rooms are awful, wouldn't ever go in that dirty pool and there is hardly any beach. go further down the beach and stay at Rooms on the Beach. On the upside, Travellers makes a very good Dirty banana.

Beach Club/NBCC, Errol's, Traveller's. No beach unlike the huge beach at the Beach Club. Great location but I tried it once long, long ago & would not go back or steer anyone there. Just me. I like to read in bed & a 60 watt bulb over the dresser doesn't cut it (cabin room). Regular hotel rooms, to me, overpriced. Were nice & new then.

Not for reading in bed if the dresser is across the room :-)

Hey Bluez, not sure when you stayed and certainly apologize for the disappointing room you were given. We've been upgrading our rooms over the past year. Here's the new standard room.

If the staff are all like Preston, I think I would stay there! This is a classy, professional response. In a few words, you addressed the issue, handled the situation and put forward solid proof of resolution! Well done!
