In the many trips I have made to Negril I am not sure if I have ever seen anyone other than a Jamaican on those horses. Not sure where they are making their money to make it worth it but it certainly isn't at the end of the beach that we stay at. Something certainly needs to be done if its getting bad like Mo was talking about in their post. I'm a pretty big guy at 6'3 350lbs and even I make sure to keep an eye out for those horses. For as much hassle as they appear to cause for the tourists, vendors and hotels up and down the beach you would think there would be enough attention to get something happening.
