International calling

Hey boardies, are there any of you who make frequent/daily calls from JA to the USA? I am finding that Digicel's international plan is REALLY unreliable. Constant dropped calls!

I use penny talk and comfi dial.

From JA to the US? I do this all the time. There are occasions when the service is imperfect and that can last a few days, but presently its good for me. Some buildings are more difficult for the signal to get through.

A few weeks ago we use Lime extensivly. We had some trouble placing calls, but once they got through we never lost one.

I used Lime everyday for nine days, just got back a week ago. Called my son at home in Canada every morning and evening, local calls and a couple of other international calls. Never had a problem once. No need for an international plan, with the talkez option, calls to Canada and the US are only 3 cents a minute.
