We stayed at Treehouse Nov26-Dec4and it was just great. Arrived at MBJ and was through and out the door in less than 30 min. The included transfer was there and ready to go in a few min and we were on our way. Check in was fast and we were in our room which was exactly what I had asked for and more. I wanted a private patio and not only did I get it but we had a cute little kitchenette with a ref, stove and microwave. I can't say enough about the staff at Treehouse. Everyone who worked there was friendly and happy, always said hello when they saw us. Housekeeping was wonderful. They had our routine figured out by the 2nd day which was have coffee on the patio-go to breakfast-long morning walk on the beach and back to room. Our room was done everyday by the time we were back from our walk. Front desk was great and made sure anything we asked for was done. And Allen the Jerk CHicken guy in thir grill by the beach was great fun. Not only chicken but he has the best Jerk Pork we have ever had.The grounds are just beautiful and I counted at least 6 differen't flowers outside our kitchen window and the little area by our patio even had an orange tree. I worked at a resort for 12 years and the staff was always happy and never said no to any request we had, that says a lot about management and Gail. TreeHouse is #1 on the list of all places we have stayed.
One of the highlights this trip was that we got to witness waves that were bigger than any we have ever seen for about 2-3 days. It was amazing and locals said it happens 2-3 times a year. Afterwards there were starfish and conch washed up along the beach that we tried to put as many as we could back into the ocean, and there was lots of seaweed with all the crap people had been throwing in the ocean (that part was sad), shoes, boots, bottles etc. They had it cleaned up in a couple of days.
