Living Social Deal - Our Past Time Villas - $239 to $400

I tried to do this with another living social-type deal at another hotel. When I called the hotel, I was told that the deal was being offered through a travel agency and not the hotel, and that I would have to purchase the deal through the website that was offering it in order to get the special rate. I was also told that a certain block of rooms were reserved for this living social-type deal; in this case they were first floor rooms with less than optimum views. So I then asked the hotel if they would be able to offer me a similar rate if I booked directly through them. Well, they did not match the terms of the living social deal, but they did give me a discount off the regular rate, they waived the taxes and they gave me a better ocean view room. So, I paid a little more, but I got the room I wanted.

I think you're talking about a promotion I did for Mirage Hotel in Negril? I'm glad you were able to get the room you wanted.

With the promotion I'm currently doing for Our Past Time, no rooms are restricted...
