If this is true, just hang a sign saying "I intend to blah blah, rah rah."

Who invited Debbie Downer to the party anyway?

So to sum up your point. The Accountant General is to get 15% of the gross receipt. 15% of $0 is $0. Quit wasting our time please.

I know for a fact that Seastar does not make a dime on this, besides of course the usual services that they already provide. I look forward to playing again on my next trip as like I said it was a great time and solid crowd.

What are the stakes? $1/$2 NL? $.50/$1? The Jamaican equivalent?

But will definitely plan on being there in February. And would love the idea of a Tournament, if that is an option as well.

I Debbie have no interest what so ever. I suggest the owners of the establishment check with the relevant authorities . Too make sure they are not breaking the law. I would not like to see anybody get a problem from this. There is already too much crime with illegal cash pot, lottery scams etc. Meanwhile the Jamaican government have three casino licences up for bidding The investments will be approximately US$2 billion each. This would be a wonderful investment for Jamaica and create many job opportunities, license fees, taxes, and would spin off to the rest of the economy by means of extra hotel rooms, extra transportation needs, and much foreign income. There is no need to jeopardise all this for the sake of a little illegal poker game and turning a respectable establishment into an illegal gambling den.

As in most countries Jamaica has it's laws. Please respect them.

    Greetings,

While the casinos in Jamaica don't specifically list as having poker rooms, it would stand to reason that poker games would be easy to find none the less. The legality of these games, if they do in fact exist, would be questionable, but poker games could surely be found.

    Sheba,

What makes you think the owners of the establishment didnt check with the relevant authorities? The owners have had the property for years, and are fully aware of the laws of Jamaica.
