FYI to anyone going down early Sept. - my GF ran into Chris and talked to him about my trip.
She told him I was thinking about a last-minute 1week trip - Thu, 9/8 thru Thu 9/15 - but didn't want to move in middle of trip for renovations starting 9/10. He said it was no problem, and to call.

So I can't say for sure, but apparently the 9/10 renovation start date is somewhat fluid - you know Jamaica.
Where I am going with this is - don't go somewhere else SOLELY because you thought they were closing for renovations on 9/10 and thought you would have to move in middle of your trip. Call Chris, or the Seastar staff, to see if you can still be accommodated.
