A good time to visit the lighthouse?

Can anyone tell me when a good time is to visit the lighthouse? Kevin and I tried a couple times last year, but there didn't seem to be anyone around. I also remember reading that Lenbert (sometimes) includes the lighthouse on the pub crawls. Is this happening these days?

See you in about 3 weeks!

When we went last year the place was empty, we wandered around a bit, eventually the caretaker came out showed us around . It always seems pretty quiet around there.

The time I went, they got the caretaker out of bed to show us around. Honestly... It's not all that exciting. My wife would not go in once he locked the door behind us.
