Cool Cliff dweller needs advice on beach...

    Good morning from snowy Cleveland...
Since I always stay on the cliffs, I really have no sense of the beach. My sister, ( a very young and social 50 year old) will be travelling solo in Feb. and is looking for a place on the beach. Needs to be safe, have en suite bath, fridge and cost about $30-50 a day. She's been to Negril before, so she (somewhat) knows the lay of the land. My concern is that since she'll be solo she needs an easily accessible location, preferably on the seaside. Don't want her crossing the street after a day/night of enjoying herself... and she will enjoy herself! She is flexible if there's an ideal place on the cliffs. Any and all thoughts welcomed. Thank you and Happy New Year!
    PS- Dates of travel 01/31-02/14.

$30 to $50 a day kind of limits beach stays, maybe Travlers, Bar-B-Barn, Fun holiday. Check out Negril One Stop.

What if she went up to $70 a day?

You might be able to get a studio at Firefly for around 75 a night. The cabins there will be cheaper but share an outdoor bathroom.

If you find all that for under 70$ In Feb., I would be surprised. A lot of places are sold out. Anything left over I may not suggest to a loved one. Good hunting! Let us know what you come up with.

You could get your cheapest rate at Roots Bamboo but I don't know if they include a fridge. I think everyone on the board would jump all over $30 a night.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!

    LPG :
For $ 50.00 per night you may have more than that [dash would be surprised]. A perfect location between cliffs and the beach [right above Hi LO parking lot] complete with a full kitchen, AC, hot water, high security, WiFi, very private. Satisfaction guaranteed ! Happy New Year to you too !
