    Booking a Flight

Has any one booked a flight into Jamaica using two different airlines? Westjet has a sale on right now and we have to connect in Toronto, 13 hrs and we are there. The problem is comimg back home as it is 27 hrs with a lay over in Toronto. The day we want to return home with Air Canada's flight is 9 hrs and we are home snug in our bed.

When arriving at MoBay, they want to see your travel itinerary and the day of your departure. Will Jamaican Customs have a problem with a one way ticket into Jamaica and with one airline ticket and a different airline for a departure? Has anyone ever done this?

I have entered Jamaica numerous times and was never asked to show a ticket. You only require a return flight. They don't care with which airlines.

No worries....book the one way and then get your return flight so long as you can pay whatever that price is.

I think/assume the return ticket is so if you become a PATA you have a way home and they don't have to ship you back.

We flew down from Saskatoon with an overnight in Toronto on Air Canada 2 weeks ago. Flying home tomorrow night on WestJet. No problems at all.
