I'm so bummed to have to make this decision. My bags are packed and ready to go. Honeymoon Suite at Kuyaba for 9 days. Last few days something is going whacko with my body so I feel it would be best to see a doctor here in Atlanta..rather than get to Negril and have to see one there. I'm supposed to be up to get ready for the airport in 6 hours.

you are so right to listen to your body and trust your intuition on this one. Negril will still be there. I can say first hand that getting good medical care, especially if you need it quickly, is not easy in Negril. I have had the unfortunate experience of a stay in Sav Emergency and all I can say is I would never want to repeat that, no matter how alluring a trip was. Get your clean bill of health and go another time. Also what I found with my last trip when I went apprehensive about other things (not health) I ended up not having a good trip and also came down with bronchitis. So go when your mind and body are in sync and it will be well worth the trip. Sorry you have to have that disappointment though. I hope your airline and hotel are being accommodating with your change of plans. Did you have/use trip insurance?

oh no! I'm so sorry that you have to cancel your trip. I agree with everyone's sentiment that health is most important and that Negril will still be there after you get checked out by your doctor. I really hope all is okay and that you're feeling better soon!
