    Zimbali for dinner...

Has anyone been lately? We have friends that want to go for a birthday dinner. Looks a little pricy....I'm guessing it's worth it? Trying not to plan our 10 days out to much but it looks like we need to pre-good this one..

Email ahead if they are full with guests it's not available. Go for lunch so you can see the farm. Wear tennis shoes. You will love it, insure did. This is on my top (5) list.

It looks like the price is ~$100 for 2 people, but that includes a blended fruit drink, a 1/2 bottle of wine and a tour of the farm - in addition to lunch or dinner (lunch is a little cheaper). Definitely something we want to try on our next trip.

the food is lovely at Zimbali Retreats - i suggest going for lunch and the tour so you can see the place - also accept their driver - if you drive yourself you may be found in the sugar cane fields in about a 100 years --- and it get's dark up there - and if you hire a driver he won't be able to find it either - unless he's been there before and my bet is even with that he'd get lost lol

i love it up there - my 17 year old son said it was the best part of our last trip - we spent 3 nights there - lovely accommodations

Done! I think our friends want to go for the evening meal. You still get. Tour and get to hear the jungle at night.

lol jungle? i heard absolutely nothing --- no tree frogs, roosters or barking dogs - slept like a baby . . .

and if you can see in the dark the tour may be okay - it's a walking tour - through a village - to the swimming river - i think i have a some videos on youtube that my son did if you want to get a feel for the place

tell Mark and Alecia i said hello

make sure you let us know what you think
