It was past sunset by the time we reached Negril. We made a short stop at HiLo for supplies and soon we were checking in at Negril Escape. This was the first time staying at Negril Escape and most likely will be the last time. I'm not usually real picky when it comes to hotels but this place is in need of some updating. Water pressure was very poor as was the supply of hot water, and don't get me started on how poorly the toilet flushes.

We stayed at Negril Escape this past June, and we had exactly the same experience. I won't stay there again until they make some improvements.

The room being repaired in the 3rd and 4th picture of post #8, is that in the Kashbah building? My wife and I had that room reserved, but when we arrived we were given a room in the India building, because the Kashbah building was being gutted. My wife was not pleased. It's a shame, because it could be a beautiful resort.

However, your pictures make the place look AWESOME, justchuck!

That is a lovely colour on her! It not only looks great, she looks so comfortable. Cool! Sorry we missed you - had a great dinner with you guys and Gerryg a while back (Bentley's)! We had fun that night! 6 sleeps and I will be warm again!

Hot water and water pressure has been a problem there for years.
However, the food is good, the location is nice nice and they're had good staff over the years.'
Hope it doesn't deteriorate because it's a great cliff property.

Sorry I missed ya, Chuck, on NY Eve's, which was my arrival date. Others I ran into complained about Negril Escape, too.
