Getting excited about Feb trip. (Checking out Negril.com too too much!) Has anyone had any Mento band sightings this year. I ask every year and it seems they are fewer and fewer. Is Mento still relevant or is it just a tourist thing now? Love my late afternoon pre sunset visits to live music bars. Is Boat Bar active on the music side? Any tips on live music off the regular track appreciated.
Pushcart next to Rockhouse on the cliffs always has the Overtakers Mento Band playing during the early evenings, and on Sundays mento is performed at Cafe Goa on the beach road!
