    Early Summer Rates?

Anybody know of any hotels that offer summer pricing as early as April 1st? I know some responses will be just call and ask, but anybody ever had any luck?

Haven't ever seen summer rates prior to April 15th. Some good deals out there right now though.

Just a reminder or for those that are not aware....you have to have a hotel booked before you arrive in Jamaica. This is a requirement of immigration.

Do you need to have a hotel booked for your entire stay, or for just 1 night, or ???

You don't have to have a room booked. You just have to give them a name of a hotel

We had friends who thought the same thing...until a couple of days ago when they arrived here. They were asked to show a piece of paper that proved they had a hotel booked/confirmed here and ended up having to convince the officers that the email confirmation on their phone was legit...they did not have a paper copy to show them. Immigration wasn't happy at all but ended up letting them through...it caused a bit of grief & a long delay getting through immigration.

You never know when you might be the one that gets checked thoroughly by immigration & it is your responsibility to prove you have a hotel confirmation & a return flight ticket.
