from all the webcasts and pictures i've seen, its outside with cover so I think ventilation will not be a problem.

There are multiple fans in case more ventilation and breezes are needed

There are many kids there for the shows. I would take mine and I have children ranging from 2.5 -23. I do not smoke and I would never condone it for my children. They have been present on vacation where it was being done and we have removed ourselves from that area of seating etc.. It is still highly illegal in my state for any purpose and as I raise my children to act according to the laws of our home no matter where in the world our feet land involving drugs or alcohol. There is not a single show or location in Negril I can think of where you will not smell it, simply put it is part of Jamaica. I do not restrict where I go and no where have I ever been as someone who does not do it that has been blown in my face or so heavy in the room that I have gotten a contact buzz. If you watch the show broadcast you will see many kids there. As teens they will be approached to buy it and smoke it with others when not in your presence so be aware of that. The show themselves keep everyone plenty occupied. Watch a broadcast it is shown every weekend live and Rob does not edit anything out and frequently circles the camera the whole room.

If u are gonna take them to any show, I think that would be the one...smoking of ganja is everywhere, but seastar has outdoor areas, covered areas, MANY fans to help with ventilation...,Chris is the owner, and i am sure he would work with you for the best area to stay away...

I agree with Sheely, if u watch a show or two, u will get a good idea....

I know for a fact that there was smoke at the show, I was at. Why? Because I was enjoying dancing with jackie and another couple and there was a little pinner being shared.

Depends on the night honestly. Ive been when it was minimal and ive also been when it was pretty excessive! As many have said its part of Jamaica. However, i wouldnt let it keep me from going. There is no good answer to your question. You know your children best!

I recently spent. 3 weeks at Sea Star with my 13 year old grandson Xavier, yes you will have to have some sort of conversation about ganja and some nudity but what I told him was we were guest in someone else's country and their rules were different from ours? He understood and what's more the staff were wonderful to him.
Sea Star was my only choice for traveling with him because I knew there were places I was going at night that he couldn't come and Sea Star was the only place I would have left him because I knew they were looking out for him and he was always safe. He didn't require much but it was a blessing to know he was with " family". He had access to the pool, food and good people. The security at Sea Star can't be beat, and they always treat you like
    friends not just customers.

As for the show after the 1 week he hardly ever stayed past the early part of the drummers and dancers, he looked at the dancers like any 13 year boy would but nothing too over the top happened in the 3 weeks we were there and we did see the show each Sat. All and all he usually lost interest before the adult movements started.

What are these adult movements you speak of? Somehow I have missed this every show, or maybe I'm doing them and didn't know their name......

Kimbbeck wrote that he told his grandson he was a guest in someone else's country and their rules were different than ours, I hope he told him ganja was illegal in Jamaica and the nudity were not the locals.
