Read between the lines my friend. The sign may advertise a performer, but if the promoter doesn't pay the artists, they won't perform. I was looking forward to Yellowman at Roots Bamboo before, paid the admission price, then Yellowman wouldn't perform because the promoter wouldn't pay him in advance. I talked to Yelloman that time, and he came ready to perform, but no one likes to work for free. Shame on that promoter for taking our money, then not paying the artists. I'm not sure if Roots is any better now, but beware!
