We are pretty well travelled just not Jamaica.
Basically if I have a secure home base - a room with a safe that I can count on.
A safe I can expect to leave my phone, passport & credit cards, I'm good.
Going out & about I just bring cash I need & nothing else.
So for me that's the big concern. Where to leave important things when I'm not around.
Now that you're going out into the world...
...there's something you should know.
-You see that? -Yeah.
That's ****.
And this is Shinola.
****.
Shinola.
Son, you're gonna be all right.
Now, what town are you gonna try for first?
I thought l'd go to St. Louis 'cause that's where that radio show was from.
And remember, the Lord loves a working man.
-"Lord loves a working man." -And son...
...don't never, ever trust Whitey.
"Don't trust Whitey. Lord loves a working man, don't trust Whitey."
Baby.
Daddy.
Pierre. Come here.
Don't you forget to grow up now.
-Good luck, brother. -Send me a picture postcard.
Okay, let the boy go.
-Bye. -We got work to do.
And l hope you find whatever it is you're looking for.
I will, Ma. I know it's out there.
It's out there, all right. If you catch it, see a doctor and get rid of it.
-"See a doctor and get rid of it." -Good luck.
"Lord loves a working man. Don't trust Whitey.
"See a doctor and get rid of it."
Bye, Grandma!.
When you go out just take what cash your gone spend. I carry a copy of my passport and leave original in safe. Never know when you gone need ID. Keep all your other money in room safe. Keep the key on your arm or under your pillow at night. know of people who went to sleep at night with safe key on table wake up with open empty safe.

Good to hear Pumpkin and Belle are still entertaining and watching out for the guests at CFSG!

Before you do anything, c.heck with the staff at your hotel - you're staying at 2 chill hotels. If their staff and/or security say "don't go' - DON'T GO! Both hotels are very reputable and will not steer you wrong. They have too much to lose. They will both probably provide you with a good driver, if you are unsure. And good advice.
Follow the webcasts and meet up with some of us boardies. We look out for each other (thanks to Rob and Lisa training us all!)
Use your home street smarts. Negril is no different from anywhere else in the world. Go with your gut. If it doesn't feel good ... it probably isn't! Personally? Link up with a boardie or 2 ... and enjoy!
All good advice - thanks and keep it coming. I'll check in on the board for sure once in town. Any advice on getting from Montego Bay Airport to negril? I heard that Seastar has a driver, but we are not staying there first. I'm good with sharing a ride for sure.
When are you going down there? We are coming in Feb 10.
