What can we expect out of Jamaica Ganja?

I was gonna say you might be disappointed in quality if you're coming from Cali but like the others say it's dirt cheap! I don't want to sound too much like a pot snob but I have done my research for various medical problems including cancer, plus I lived on the more liberal west coast for years. IMO what drops the quality (not getting into genetics because they're are obviously medical strains available now with high THC) is the fact that they don't cure the bud after drying correctly for quick sale. That being said there a lot of tourist/beach weed but some higher grade can be found if A. You know the right people or B. Negotiate (which can be hard on the beach without examining the product). Don't buy sight unseen. Try to make local friends, they have the real stuff or know someone that does or better yet can take you to the fields to meet the real farmers (although I wouldn't trust the beach hustlers when they offer tours of the fields, like I said make local friends ie. cabbies, hotel workers etc. But keep in mind that it is Illegal so try to be as discreet as possible and NEVER smoke on the beach or anywhere in plain sight....why tempt fate and be stupid, you don't want to wind up in JA Jail!!! Now all that being said...Weed is Illegal and I don't condone it's recreational use

Update from hubby over dinner, he says that the hydro that he gets at home is better than in Ja. Although it's still fresh and sticky in Ja.

It seems the older I get, the more I need it for "medicinal" factors. To be honest, even the stuff on the beach is not bad compared to none at home. I don't like waking up after a nights sleep feeling buzzed, disorientated unless I choose to be that way.
