In the simplest terms, each week the partners put in a certain amount of money, and they rotate turns to use it. Lets say you have 4 people putting in 500J; each week one of the partners gets $2K to invest in their business. Maybe they don't use all of it, but retain a portion to build up some equity in the 'fund'? Not sure on that. Obviously requires trust between the partners. I have read of very trusted persons being the 'keeper' of the funds/bookkeeping for several partner relationships.

Good to see you Smith. Haven't been on here in a while myself. Jamaicans love Partner as it's a way of saving for a large purchases, vacation, etc. Very popular with island people here in the New York area. You just have to be able to trust the banker and the participants as people sometimes drop out (can't pay) and the people at the bottom of the ladder get shortchanged.
